NEW LEVEL CHURCHES

1.     NEW LEVELS ARE REACHED IN INCREMENTS

Pat Riley, famous coach of the NBA, gave some innovative ways that his team could improve their performance.   After failing to win the championship in 1985 he selected five areas of performance that had cost his team the championship the previous year.   He challenged each player to improve one percentage point in each of the five areas.   They were not to attempt 5 or 10 percent - just one sustainible percent in the five areas.

He concluded that one percent improvement in five areas for twelve players would give them a 60% increment of improvement.   Imagine those kinds of results in your church.   It is possible and not that difficult.   New Level Church Consulting (NLCC) provides ministry and resources that will assist your church in reaching a new level.

New level leaders (NLL) know that people buy into leaders before they buy into their leadership.   NLL are relational.   NLL accept people where they are, begin where people are, but never leave them where they are.   They influence others, beginning with leaders, intentionally, invididually, and with integrity.   The level of ones influence defines ones level of leadership.   Nothing ever changes until someone sees the need and begins to lead the change.   NLL take responsibility for change.

3.       NEW LEVELS ARE REACHED THROUGH INSTRUCTIONS

A recent parishioner observed "We want to do - we just don't know how or what to do, the pastor always does everything".   It is the role of NLL to equip others for ministry.   NLL adopt a "Rancher" mindset, rather than a "Shepherd" mindset.   Shepherds limit growth potential to 100-150 people.   Ranchers are unlimited in growth potential.   Ranchers train shepherds to shepherd

NL Leaders take the initiative in change.  They create a positive atmosphere for change by communicating the benefits of the change to the people affected most by the change.  The credibility of the leader is essential in leading change.
